The latest novel is set in Italy and was inspired by Dante's iconic 14th century poem of the same name. The book's cover features a portrait of Dante against the city of Florence, as well as Dante's famous nine rings of hell. In announcing the book's release, Brown commented, "Although I studied Dante's 'Inferno' as a student, it wasn't until recently, while researching in Florence, that I came to appreciate the enduring influence of Dante's work on the modern world. With this new novel, I am excited to take readers on a journey deep into this mysterious realm...a landscape of codes, symbols, and more than a few secret passageways." "Inferno" is scheduled to be available on May 14. |
