Seasoned musician Steve Soderquist returns to his love and passion for writing horror fiction and debuts with One for the Road, a bloodcurdling novel that takes readers on board a hellish roller coaster ride. Soderquist's newly published book marks the genesis of a series of harrowing stories dedicated to quench horror fiction fans' lust for blood, gore and sinister escapades.
Soderquist's tale revolves around an unusually eerie night in the lives of two unsuspecting men. There is an unspeakable horror that Kevin Delarunas, Attorney at Law in Lancaster, Ohio and Mark Christiana, a successful business man from New York, are about to experience together, even though they had never met before.
Leaving separate bars at three in the morning, both men come face to face with an unspeakable terror that only Hell could produce. As they try to get to their separate destinations, they are both haunted by the radio DJ personality known as Ricky Rogers. As Ricky Rogers addresses them individually, evil becomes more and more apparent with each on-air appearance from what they soon realize are not coming from the radio.
When each man sees the other in his passenger seat, mangled almost beyond recognition and already quite dead, but talking to him, the night is turned into a ride so terrifying that it can lead to only one shocking conclusion.
Enigmatic and thrilling, One for the Road sets readers on a collision course with Hell. The journey begins and ends with one spine-tingling premise: "Some things you cannot escape; when evil wants you, it will have you."

Steve Soderquist has been an author and successful musician for over 30 years. He took to the latter, being on the road for many years and visited most of the United States in his travels. His success allowed him the chance to do what he calls his first love, which is writing horror novels. Settled back now as a full-time writer, Soderquist has planned out a course of four books based on One for the Road, promising each one will take the reader on a roller coaster ride they will never forget. He currently lives with his girlfriend, Regina, and her daughter, Anjel, in Croswell, Mich.
