Rev. Robert O. Faga Looks to Churches New and Old in WHERE HAS ALL THE POWER GONE?

In his new book, "Where Has All the Power Gone?" (published by Trafford Publishing), Rev. Robert O. Faga compares early Christian churches with contemporary churches to showcase how readers can improve in their spiritual lives.

"Where Has All the Power Gone?" gives readers step-by-step advice to grow in their faith. Faga writes on several topics that Christians can use to improve their faith and life, as well as the strength of the church in which they belong.

An excerpt from "Where Has All the Power Gone?":

"I have seen young and old grow rapidly in knowledge and faith when they began reading the Bible regularly. I can give my own personal testimony of what it has meant for me to let God speak to me through His Word. He has strengthened my faith to trust Him in time of need. He has given me Words to say when someone else was experiencing a crisis in his life. He has assured me and continues to assure me of my salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ."

Faga explains that his book was written to help readers know what to believe in and to act on their beliefs. "It is not just enough to believe something," he says. "It is important that we do something."

Rev. Robert O. Faga was born in Iowa on September 18, 1929. He was raised on The Farm. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force for 18 months until his father passed away, at which time he was granted a discharge to help his family on The Farm. Faga served another 10 months after being called back into the service during the Korean War. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in 1961 and later served in five churches full-time until he retired in 1991, working part-time after at nine other churches. Now Faga spends his time writing about experiences he had as a minister.
