Poet Jarvis Price Publishes Latest Collection, POEMS IN THE KEY OF PRICE

Author and poet Jarvis Price presents a collection of poems that embrace the beauty of simplicity in his new book "Poems in the Key of Price" (published by AuthorHouse).

In just under 100 pages, Price's poems display a heartfelt approach to love and the lessons it's taught him. "In contrast, it shows the images of lost Ambrosia with the perils of relationships," he writes. The book also offers insights into society, family memories and a dedication to Price's mother, Wanda, who was "a true inspiration in her own right," he says.

Price's poem, "Reach for the Stars," featured below in excerpt:

"The day that I stand beside the stars I'll know I have achieved the
pinnacle of my dreams.

I'll be able to say that I came all the way and the path walked was
never once unscathed.

The road had holes in it, stones thrown upon it, but I let nothing
keep me away from it."

"Although spoken word has taken off with great success, I feel as though the style of poetry itself needs a rejuvenation of harmonic, spiritual and intellectual understanding," Price writes. "Every word I dedicate to poetry is an exhalation in my inner spirit."
