Michael Thunder is a man who could possibly save the world. He was a self made man, satisfied with his life. He served in the USMC and was tough as nails, yet the men who served with him loved him. The only thing Michael hated worse than politicians was liars. For him, politicians tend to tell the people what they want to hear in order to get elected, and then conveniently forget their promises once in office. Consequently, year after year a lot of promises are being made, while none are being kept. Because of this, he decided to start holding some of these corrupt politicians to the promises they made. He is a man's man who got fed up with the phony promises and will do something about them. The only problem is that he didn't realize how deep the people's money was kept in the pockets of these politicians.
America Brought to her Knees written by Michael Floria is a fictional novel, YET IS IT?, that explores and uncovers the many problems American people have and offers some solutions to corruption in politics. In this book, Michael Thunder thinks that the only way to fight corrupt politicians is to get involved and become one of the people in politics. However, he made a promise to himself that he would never become part of that corrupt community. His love for his country and its citizens were the most important things. So his fight begins. He wants to see how things worked before he could make some of the changes that he believed needed to be made. For that reason, he talks with people in order to make his ideas and feelings known. Much to his surprise, he was gaining a lot of political clout and support for his ideas. So much so, that he was encouraged to run for office, which he did, and was elected by a margin so large that it raised the eyebrows of the politico elite. They were wondering who was this unknown who was winning by such a large margin. Now that he was elected, he wondered what he should do first.
