Lesley A. Anderson is a life-long educator and an aspiring writer. Born in Oakland, California, and raised in the Los Angeles area, Lesley is a Raider fan at heart. Lesley graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Liberal Studies Degree with the emphasis in Speech Communication and earned her Masters Degree in Administration from Pepperdine University. Lesley's been married for over thirteen years and is the proud parent of two beautiful girls. She still resides in the Los Angeles area and works as an Assistant Principal at a local middle school. With the publication of her first children's story, Black and White Make Gray... But I'm Not An Elephant, Lesley plans on writing numerous children's stories and books relating to issues of race and identity.
