"Heaven is Real But So is Hell" has hit No. 1 for both Barnes & Noble online and for Christian Orthodoxy on Amazon - with the publication date still days away, scheduled for March 16.
The author is an international spiritual leader who recorded her conversations with God in more than 100 notebooks. The book condenses her story - and God's messages, revealed to her in prayers and visions.
"New questions continue to emerge as our world's stability is increasingly questioned - including financial meltdowns, natural disasters and terrorism - but there is an answer for each problem," says Vassula Ryden, a Greek-born international speaker, mystic and author of "Heaven is Real But So is Hell," http://www.HeavenIsRealBook.com.
"God is trying to tell us that we are losing our moral compass and that we need to reconnect with Him; otherwise, we will be unable to distinguish good from evil, and not only our civilization will crumble but we are endangering the whole cosmos."
In her first U.S.-published book, the internationally renowned leader takes readers into the supernatural world, where she has experienced the hidden forces that affect our lives. She details encounters with both good and evil forces and reveals profoundly important messages for humanity, largely hidden until now.
Sometimes harrowing, but filled with hope, "Heaven is Real" answers many of the questions that people have been asking for thousands of years, says Ryden, a former tennis pro and model who wasn't particularly religious or spiritual when she began hearing God's voice 27 years ago.
She says God's messages provide a glimpse into His love and His hopes for us, and reveal what is soon to come. Ryden, who is based in Greece, has spoken in 80 countries to millions of people, including over 500,000 in the Philippines.
