George R.R. Martin Releases New WINDS OF WINTER Chapter

Yesterday, acclaimed author George RR Martin released a new chapter from the upcoming sixth novel in his A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE series.

Martin posted on his blog: "For all of you who have been clamoring, I have a somewhat belated Xmas/ New Year's gift, a new sample chapter from THE WINDS OF WINTER."

Take note, however: this chapter, confirmed by multiple sources, is set to replace the chapter Martin released last year. This version is told from Arianne Martell's perspective, the Princess of Dorne.

The last book in the series, A DANCE WITH DRAGONS, was released in 2011.

As of now, no official release date has been set for WINTER.
