Drama Book Shop to Host Two Applause Book Signings in December!

Mark your calendar for these Applause Book Signings at Drama Book Shop in December!

The signing for THE REST OF THE STORY will take place Thursday, December 6th at 6 pm. A celebration of the life and work of Arthur Laurents featuring David Saint, editor of Laurents's posthumously published memor THE REST OF THE STORY, and friends, including two-time Tony Award nominee Allison Fraser. THE REST OF THE STORY picks up where Laurents's 2000 memoir ORIGINAL STORY BY left off and is filled with the wisdom gained by growing older and a new perspective brought on by his experience of deep personal loss.

PERFORMANCE OF THE CENTURY's signing will take place Friday, December 14th at 5 pm. Join Actors' Equity president Nick Wyman and author Robert Simonson and special guests as they recall Equity's first 100 years and celebrate the new book, PERFORMANCE OF THE CENTURY: 100 YEARS OF Actors' Equity Association AND THE RISE OF PROFESSIONAL AMERICAN THEATER. Actors Lee Roy Reams and Danny Burstein, and Justin "Squigs" Robertson, who designed the book's cover, all will be on hand.
