Hundreds of Long Island and New York City mothers will gather at the first New York appearance by "Fifty Shades" author E.L. James who will be honored at a special pre-Mother's Day luncheon hosted by Divamoms founder Lyss Stern on Monday May 7, 2012 at 11:30 am at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park, Farmingdale, NY. The best-selling Fifty Shades erotic/romance stories is taking Long Island and the entire nation by storm and has become an international cultural phenomenon. This is the first New York metro-area stop of James' U.S. book tour which has been one of the most successful in history.

E.L. James has achieved a massive cult following and she recently inked a million dollar deal with Vintage Books/Random House and plans are already moving forward to turn her books into a major motion picture similar to the billion dollar Twilight series. Fifty Shades stories first achieved notoriety when women began downloading them on their iPads in droves and her fame has skyrocketed since in a manner that is unprecedented for an unknown author. Massive sold-out crowds have swarmed her book signings at every stop of her tour.
